Job Description
Position: Accountant (Manufacturing Industry)
Our client a well-established manufacturer specializing in castings is looking for an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate should be from Bhilai and have a background in manufacturing handling both Accounts and GST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks like payments invoices ledgers and bank transactions
- Maintain financial records including balance sheets profit & loss statements and cash flow reports
- Ensure accurate taxation records and GST compliance including filing and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support external audits and tax filings
Qualifications:
- ./. or similar accounting degree
- 5 years of experience in accounting or a CA firm
- Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Experience with Tally accounting software and MS Excel
- Background in manufacturing is preferred
