Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our resort's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting and financial operations ensuring compliance with taxation laws conducting audits and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations including ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements budgets and forecasts to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant taxation laws and regulations; prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely.
- Conduct internal and external audits to verify financial information and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards taxation policies and regulatory requirements affecting the hospitality industry.
- Utilize financial software and technology tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Communicate financial information effectively to management and other stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all financial dealings.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a dynamic resort environment.
- Contribute to strategic business planning by providing financial insights and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant certification.
- Proven experience in accounting taxation and auditing preferably within the hospitality or resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ethical conduct and professional integrity.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple priorities.
