Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of an Assistant Team Manager on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 29.26 - 37.40 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small pod of social workers (caseloads of 1416 children per worker).
- Provide reflective supervision that supports relationship-based practice.
- Ensure high-quality outcomes for children and young people in care.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration (e.g. SWE).
- Experience managing or supervising social workers (desirable).
- Strong understanding of long-term care planning and support.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
