Job Description

Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Location: Chatham VA
Schedule: Day Shift 50-60 Hours/Week

Were hiring Apprentice Electricians to support a 4.4 MW solar panel install project in Chatham VA. The company has been active in commercial and renewable energy construction since 1992 and is licensed in over 20 states. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in the solar sector alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull wire and connect panels inverters and junction boxes
  • Assist with electrical terminations and mechanical installs
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Keep a clean and organized job site
  • Work under the direction of journeyman electricians and site leadership

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of electrical or solar experience preferred
  • Familiar with wire pulling terminations and basic tools
  • Willingness to learn and follow site protocols
  • Ability to lift carry and move materials throughout the day

Additional Details:

  • Out-of-town workers provided with hotel and $40/day per diem
  • Project requires 50-60 hours per week

Pay: $28 - $33/hour weekly pay
