Job Summary
We are looking to hire an electrician experience in electrical installation maintenance and repair. Holds
a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a strong understanding of industrial
electrical systems. Skilled in troubleshooting wiring and ensuring compliance with safety
standards. Has added advantage of experience working in a plastic manufacturing company
with knowledge of production machinery and power systems
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on machines panels and wiring systems.
- Install maintain and upgrade electrical equipment motors and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all electrical works.
- Support production teams by minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable operation of machines.
- Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance activities and spare part usage.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 34 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance
- Experience in a plastic manufacturing company will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
- Technical expertise in electrical systems and control circuits.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (basic understanding preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
