Job Description
We are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic organization led by a highly respected and well-liked CFO in the Roseville area. The Payroll Specialist will oversee full-cycle payroll processing labor compliance and certified payroll reporting. This is a Direct Hire onsite position. Pay: $70000 $90000 DOE.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process payroll for both union and non-union staff
- Submit payroll-related payments including taxes garnishments and 401k contributions
- Prepare certified payroll documentation
- Perform internal reviews to ensure compliance with labor laws and prevailing wage requirements
- File monthly union documentation
- Manage payroll audits unemployment requests and quarterly/year-end tax reporting
- Collaborate with accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll processes
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting business or similar
- 3 years of payroll experience construction industry preferred.
- Proficient with ERP systems. Sage and Viewpoint a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting business finance or similar
- 3 yearss experience in payroll preferably in the construction industry.
