The School of Education and Human Development at Saint Josephs University invites applications for a tenure track faculty member to join the faculty in its Master of Social Work (MSW) Program. This position is for a 9-month tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. There may be an opportunity for additional summer teaching.Note to Applicants:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing and teaching online (synchronous and asynchronous) graduate courses in the MSW Program.
SJU teaching load is 9 credit hours in each semester for fall/spring semesters.
Serve on university and department committees
Advising students in the MSW program
Develop and maintain an ongoing program of scholarly research
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Earned PhD in Social Work or DSW (another relevant terminal degree may be considered)
Commitment to social justice and advocacy
Competency teaching online.
Preferred:
Record of student-centered advising from an anti-oppressive and liberatory perspective
Online teaching experience
Scholarship of teaching and learning publications or presentations
Experience developing and aligning curricula with CSWE accreditation standards
Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) and interest in program development
Licensure as an LCSW in PA or license eligible with commitment to apply within year 1 of date of hire
Interdisciplinary experience in Autism support disability studies counseling speech and language pathology occupational therapy and other allied health professions.
