Job Description

You will be a part of a team qualifying new class of BMS algorithms and architectures to improve the utility of batteries of Apple this position you will be expected to:- Use a combination of advanced electrical and chemical engineering and mathematics to validate the performance of BMS algorithms.- Develop simulation and physical tests to validate state of charge and state of power of battery systems.- Develop verification methods to detect battery abnormalities early in advance in product design process.- Review and analyze qualification data flag and report anomalous qualification output and perform failure analysis to identify root cause for deviation and provide risk.

Masters degree or equivalent job-related experience in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) Algorithm/Firmware/Software development or validation.
Experience with Python or C/C.
Experience in working on electrical circuits.

3-year experience in BMS Algorithm/Firmware/Software development or validation.
Experience with detailed Lithium-ion battery modeling.
Experience with time-series data analysis.
Critical thinking skills.
Trouble shooting skills.
Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
Ability total action and drive results on tight schedules.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and cross-functional teams.
