Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminarys campus the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The Instructional Aide supports teachers in fostering a safe engaging and faith-centered learning environment. The aide assists with classroom instruction supervision and clerical tasks helping ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically socially and spiritually.
Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to support classroom instruction and routines
Assist with small group and one-on-one learning activities to meet diverse student needs
Support the social emotional and spiritual development of students in alignment with Catholic values
Help supervise students during classroom transitions recess lunch and other non-instructional times
Maintain a clean safe and organized learning environment
Communicate regularly and supportively with teachers staff and parents
Foster a nurturing respectful and faith-filled classroom culture
Model Christian behavior and support the mission of Catholic education
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed
Prior experience working with students in a classroom or child-centered setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
Organized dependable and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic school environment
Joyful compassionate and student-focused
Must be at least 18 years of age
Practicing Catholic preferred but not required
