Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator compiles inventory information such as customer orders rate characteristics value and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need to expedite customer rush and/or backlog orders. Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. The hours of this position are Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12am.

REPORTING TO

Warehouse Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide coordination/support on inventory and logistics matters.
  • Monitors inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Lead.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle count as required and report to Warehouse Supervisor and Working Lead of any discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Reviews reports to identify trends or issues to support or initiate actions or adjustments.
  • Uses ERP system to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and existing inventory.
  • Monitor and work closely with various departments in production regarding any backorders.
  • Inventory planning for assigned locations within the facility
  • Follow quality standards and comply with procedures rules and regulations
  • Develop document and maintain procedures and processes to ensure efficiency
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Serves a back-up for Shipping and Receiving Associate.
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a face-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems. Visual System preferred.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1-2 years of experience with manufacturing warehouse inventory control in an automated (MRP/ERP) environment.
