Job Description

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the motorcycle sales department

  • Recruit train and coach a high-performing sales team

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed monthly and annual goals

  • Oversee inventory management merchandising and showroom presentation

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accountability

  • Foster a positive high-energy customer-first culture

  • Collaborate with F&I service and parts departments for seamless customer experiences

  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies

Commitments

  • Treat all Team Members and Guests fairly courteously and with dignity.
  • Model superior Guests service behavior for all sales personnel by maintaining positive relationships with Guests Team Members GM and owner(s).
  • Remain current with all sales department training available by reviewing the H-D Training Portal on H-Dnet. Monthly certificationrequired.
  • Demonstrate & utilize best practices from Grant Cardone Training
  • Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
  • Be honest and fair in all business dealings.
  • Demonstrate an interest in growing the sales business.
  • Focus on quality.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in sales management (automotive or powersports preferred)

  • Strong leadership communication and team-building skills

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Deep knowledge and passion for motorcyclesHarley-Davidson experience a plus

  • Ability to analyze data and make performance-driven decisions

  • Valid motorcycle endorsement (or willing to obtain within 90 days)

Physical Demands

  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push a 650 lb. motorcycle.

Working Conditions

  • Is potentially exposed to battery acid gasoline chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
  • Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
