Job Description

The Bilingual Client Service Specialist (Disability) is responsible for providing support to clients with their Life and Disability claims. This includes the day to day management of client requests claim activities and the ongoing general administration and maintenance of documentation regarding these activities. You will be reliable have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills show initiative possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills consistently pay attention to detail and display sound work ethics. This exciting role includes the investigation of complex issues and management of client escalations.

The Bilingual Client Service Specialist will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and multiple insurance companies.

  • Handle all inquiries from clients in a timely manner; interact with clients to provide information in response to inquiries about their claims.

  • Day-to-day management of client requests disability/life claims activities and the ongoing general administration and maintenance of the documentation regarding these activities.

  • Assist clients with the disability/life claims process flow.

  • Interact with insurance companies clients advisors and plan members to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services.

  • Ensure clients have the correct forms for disability and life claims; ensure claims are submitted within defined service level agreements.

  • Liaise between the employer/employee and the carriers to ensure a smooth claim process.

  • Track all claims and follow up with carriers employers and employees where necessary.

  • Maintain security and confidentiality of client information.

To be successful as a Bilingual Client Service Specialist with People Corporation you will need:

  • Bilingual: English & French (Written & Spoken)

  • 2 years of experience in the group benefits industry.

  • 2 years working in a client focused environment with a commitment for service excellence.

  • Disability administration experience is a requirement.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet client and internal needs.
