Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:- Managing the base yard storeroom by organizing and maintaining materials and supplies safely ensuring accurate receipt inspection and documentation of deliveries and maintaining inventory records through electronic data systems;
- Monitoring stock levels initiating purchases to maintain adequate supplies for water system maintenance and repair and conducting regular inventory counts to ensure accountability;
- Operating equipment such as forklifts and trucks to move and deliver materials and maintaining updated safety data sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used in the base yard;
- Assisting the base yard supervisor by accurately entering and managing data in electronic systems related to materials issuance work hours attendance service orders and customer accounts while troubleshooting system issues and keeping the supervisor informed on daily activities and project status;
- Providing office support including maintaining filing systems typing correspondence and reports obtaining purchase quotations answering phones handling vendor inquiries preparing and routing documents for approval and conducting periodic compliance inspections of the base yard; and
- Performing other related duties as required or directed.
Special Work Conditions: Work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.May be required to work weekends nights shift work holidays and emergencies based on operational needs.

- At time of application you must be a citizen national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:Two (2) years ofcomputerizedstorekeeping experience.Such experience must have shown demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of storekeeping purchasing rules and regulations and the ability to plan establish and maintain storekeeping systems.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Valid Hawaii State drivers license (Type 3) as required.
Valid Forklift Certification prior to completion of probation. Examination Process
