This Education Consultant Supervisor position located within the Louisiana Department of Educations Office of Assessment Accountability and Analytics provides strategic leadership and oversight of statewide math and science assessment development. The role manages a team of Education Consultants responsible for designing and refining high-quality standards-aligned assessments including LEAP 2025 LEAP Connect ELPT ELPT-Connect and LEAP 360 for all students including those in special populations. The supervisor ensures alignment with Louisiana Student Standards and works closely with the Office of Teaching and Learning to maintain coherence across curriculum instruction and assessment.
Candidates with the following skills and experiences are encouraged to apply:
Nine years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience plus six years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
A bachelors degree plus six years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus five years of experience in education teaching or administrative services.

Job Duties:
Appointment Type:Probational Promotional or Job Appointment.The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office.Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment if selected.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule:Work hours are Monday - Friday. Work hours will be determined.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
**Note regarding the advertised pay range:The Education Consultant Supervisor series have a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $33.65 hourly $2692.31 biweekly that is above the minimum hire rate for these positions.The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and notthe maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.How To Apply:
