Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors or Associates degree in Safety Management or a related field is required plus 8 years of related experience and/or training in relevant fields. Alternatively candidates may qualify with 12 years of related experience and/or training in lieu of a degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

While performing the functions of this job the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts work in high precarious places risk of electrical shock; frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions; and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk climb or balance talk or hear; frequently required to sit use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl; an. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The job requires that 50% to 75% of the time would be spent traveling within a 3-state area. Overnight travel would also be required. Must train and observe under field conditions within the state. The position involves proficiency in climbing wood pole structures aerial lift and digger derrick operations and requires some work during non-traditional working hours and weekends. Participation in storm response efforts is required including deployment on short notice extended hours and work in challenging conditions to support restoration and safety operations.
