The Technical Team reporting to Planning & Technical collaborates with Integrated Closure and Business Planning to update long-term closure plans and inform financial forecasts. They complete technical studies support site operations with best practices and regulatory compliance and help implement closure management activities. Acting as Subject Matter Experts they assist with scoping and executing site projects maintain the technical knowledge base and manage risks related to tailings water and geotechnical issues.
To be successful in this role you will:
This position will be based in Saskatoon with regular travel to other sites in Canada and US. The asociated work schedule is 40 hours per week. Hybrid working (flexible shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP.
BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance temporary accommodations home finding tripand a resettlement allowance.
