As the Director of Enrollment and Outreach you will oversee and enhance the student enrollment journeyfrom initial inquiry and admissions to successful integration into Atlantis Academys innovative educational program. This dynamic role blends strategic thinking with creative innovation to drive the development and implementation of both short- and long-term enrollment strategies for attracting enrolling and retaining students in order to achieve targeted goals. By demonstrating servant leadership and cultivating strong positive relationships with students families school leaders and community partners; the Director of Enrollment and Outreach plays a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and continued success of Atlantis Academy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Representing Atlantis Academies and ChanceLight Education within the community and with prospective families by effectively communicating the mission vision and core values of Atlantis Academy.
- Engaging prospective students and families by clearly highlighting the benefits and unique educational opportunities offered by Atlantis Academy.
- Coordinating dynamic admissions eventsincluding campus tours open houses student shadow experiences curricular information sessions parent-to-parent connections and personalized family meetingsto attract and enroll new students.
- Responding promptly and thoughtfully to all new student inquiries actively cultivating meaningful relationships to support families throughout the enrollment journey.
- Managing the complete admissions process from initial inquiry through intake and final enrollment ensuring efficiency and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborating closely with school-based leadership to schedule personalized interviews and provide engaging individual or small-group tours of the campus.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with key community stakeholders including area schools healthcare professionals therapists pediatricians parent-support groups community organizations and governmental agencies to create robust networking opportunities.
- Attending and exhibiting at relevant conferences community events and marketing opportunities including those occurring outside traditional business hours (evenings/weekends) to build awareness and establish positive community relationships.
- Developing and implementing a targeted communication plan designed to effectively transition prospective families from initial interest to enrolled status.
- Overseeing the creation and refinement of engaging admissions materials promotional events and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Ensuring a systematic and efficient application process through clear timely and informative communication with families promoting a positive admissions experience.
- Collaborating with school-based leadership to proactively manage student retention efforts and enhance student and family satisfaction.
- Leading and managing the financial aid process actively participating in policy formulation family communications and financial aid award decisions.
- Maintaining accurate admissions and enrollment data regularly analyzing the effectiveness of enrollment strategies and providing timely reports to Regional Vice President and school leadership.
- Facilitating informative sessions to guide families in navigating Floridas School Choice scholarship opportunities (including McKay Gardiner Tax Credit Hope Family Empowerment scholarships).
- Assisting families in understanding their rights and maximizing available scholarship opportunities to support enrollment decisions and affordability.
- Educating and motivating faculty and staff to actively participate in supporting the admissions and enrollment processes.
- Collaborating with school leadership to implement a welcoming and effective assimilation process for newly enrolled students and families.
- Developing and executing an annual marketing and enrollment strategy designed to attract enroll and retain students ensuring achievement of campus enrollment goals.
- Maintaining ongoing outreach and periodic follow-up with current and former students and families to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
- Partnering with school leadership and ChanceLights Marketing Department to oversee effective website content digital outreach and social media campaigns.
- Participating actively in the annual budgeting process with school leadership to effectively plan and allocate resources for marketing and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborating with the Regional Vice President of Operations and site-based leaders to support and achieve campus regional and organizational goals including strategic planning activities.
- Ensuring fiscal accountability by regularly reviewing financial reports related to marketing recruitment and retention activities to identify and proactively address budget variances.
- Attending and participating actively in school-based and regional leadership meetings as required.
- Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree or higher in education special education school administration marketing or a closely related field of study.
- Masters degree in a related field of study preferred.
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a FL special education instruction credential preferred.
- Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid FL drivers license.
- Minimum 2 yr.s prior experience working in a school administrative staff supervisory and budgetary management role preferred.
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance particularly for students with autism related disabilities and/or challenging behaviors.
- Prior experience and/or highly skilled in working with students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Prior experience and/or highly knowledgeable in education admission and enrollment procedures state funding grants and scholarship programs.
- Advanced knowledge regarding the Florida School Choice program options and funding highly preferred.
- Proficient in the development and implementation of successful marketing public relations and/or community engagement campaigns.
- Highly skilled in building relationships with students parents teachers and community and/or external business partners.
- History of success building credibility effectively managing multiple projects and collaborating across all organizational levels.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of staff members students parents customers and the public.
- Advanced oral and written communication organization conflict resolution multitasking problem solving and decision-making ability.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Well-versed in the use of relevant technology including experience with computers Microsoft Office Suite database entry and basic office equipment.
