Job Title:Painter / Wall Technician
Location:Richmond VA
Job Type:Full-Time
Pay:$17.40 $23.85 per hour (based on experience)

Hallmark Youthcare is a behavioral healthcare facility dedicated to helping adolescents heal and grow in a safe structured environment. We take pride in maintaining a clean welcoming and well-maintained space for our residents and staff.
We are seeking a skilledPainter / Wall Technicianto join our facilities team. If youre detail-oriented reliable and passionate about quality workthis is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation
- Clean sand patch and prep interior and exterior surfaces
- Apply primers caulk sealers and fillers as needed
- Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and tape
Painting & Finishing
- Apply paint stain varnish and decorative finishes using brushes rollers or spray guns
- Match paint colors and textures when needed
- Inspect work for quality and perform touch-ups as necessary
Maintenance & Repair
- Install or repair cove base corner guards ceiling tiles and wall protectors
- Support the team with general aesthetic upkeep of the facility
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial painting experience
- Valid Virginia drivers license (clean record may be required)
- Skilled in color mixing surface prep and paint application
- Able to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work in various indoor/outdoor settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor work environments
- Exposure to paint fumes and chemicals
- Tasks may require kneeling bending reaching and lifting
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay:$17.40 $23.85 per hour
