Job Description
While contributing to the mechanical design of Apples products you will work closely with many cross-functional teams including Industrial Design Hardware Engineering Electrical Engineering Thermal Safety Packaging Wireless EMC and Operations.
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in product design.
- Experience developing parts and assemblies in 3-D CAD
- Knowledge of plastic and metal part design
- Knowledge of design cycle from concept to manufacturing
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%)
- Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Experience in plastic and metal part design
- Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing
- High volume mass production experience
- Experience with FEA for mechanical parts
- Experience in the areas of: GD&T Tolerance Analysis Statistical Analysis Design of Experiments
- Innovative thinking high personal motivation deep engineering capability
