Job Summary: HOLT CAT in Cleburne Texas is looking for a experienced heavy equipment Shop Supervisor. This position is responsible for scheduling and prioritizing all work performed in the assigned area of responsibility; providing quotes for jobs and work order review for customer billing; customer communications; shop safety practices and compliance with shop operating policies. This position has major responsibilities to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. Our address is 420 Marti Dr. Cleburne Texas 76033. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Essential Functions:
- Models promotes reinforces and rewards the consistent use of HOLTs Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision Values and Mission
- Establishes and mutually agrees upon and communicate job expectations (i.e. accurate price quotes and time estimates) to internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction according to our mission and core business values
- Establishes models and reinforces safety practices which are consistent with our mission to ensure employee and customer safety
- Models collaborative problem solving and personal influencing skills to ensure that service activities in incumbents area of responsibility are aligned with the overall business plan of the service department and company
- Provides Service Manager with status reports on all open work orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Reviews monthly service operations branch statement to assess progress on department business goals
- Participates in the selection development and evaluation of service department personnel to ensure a high level of commitment and competence is available in our human resources
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies procedures and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- High school or equivalent diploma or trade school diploma required
- Bachelors degree in Business Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years machining service/supervisory experience required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel:
- Up to 30% travel required to include overnight travel
- Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity coordination and stamina
- Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders
- Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
- Routinely reacts to visual auditory and other signals including alarms and instructions and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment:
- Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather heat cold and humidity
- Noise level may be loud at times
- Exposure to small quantities of chemicals steam high-pressure water and high-speed rotating equipment
- Significant time spent in confined spaces and high places
