Job Description
In this highly impactful role you will use your technical knowledge and analysis experience to analyze and implement optimal acoustic test solutions. Duties include:Performing acoustic and structural mechanical analysis to optimize test fixtures against performance closely with internal and external international teams to ensure learning is implemented correctly in test solutions deployed in the acoustic modeling standards and processes to allow efficient analysis of new and existing test test station performance with cost efficiency and scalability goals. Aligning the team and leaders on these intricate weekly program status updates to internal teams and executives as required.
- 7 years of experience with industry-standard acoustic and structural simulation tools.
- Proven experience with simulation to physical test correlation and validation methods.
- Extensive knowledge of methods of noise and vibration isolation and suppression and their application
- Masters degree or higher in Mechanical or Audio/Acoustic Engineering
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Understanding of sound wave propagation vibration analysis and acoustic materials.
- Experience with structural analysis techniques modal vibration stress-strain stiffness optimization.
- Ability to interpret and apply acoustic principles to real-world product development.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) methods.
- Eagerness to work in a dynamic environment and dependably complete individual work.
- Experience in the use of AI/ML techniques to improve and refine models
- Experience of FE/multi physics tools for broader disciplines deformable contacts RF electro-magnetics etc.
- Familiarity with software development processes and scripting languages (e.g. Python MATLAB).
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181100 and $272100 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
