Capgemini America Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Applications Developer 2 based out of its Chicago IL U.S. headquarters. The employeemay also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: develop and directsoftware system testing and validation procedures programming and documentation; develop languages/methods/frameworks/toolsto support server-based databases indevelopment/test/production environments; design/develop/maintain ITapplications and their components orenvironments based on Software Architecture models/principles;code/integrate/implement/install/changeframeworks and standard application components; analyze user needs andsoftware requirements to determinefeasibility of design within time and cost constraints; initiate/maintain client relationships forthe purpose of analyzing user needsthrough research/data analysis; and develop/implement related technicalsolutions for clients
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelorsdegree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer ApplicationsInformation Technology Information Systems Business AdministrationEngineering (any) or closely related field plus at least 2 years of experiencein the job offered as Programmer/Developer Systems Analyst Business AnalystTester or related IT lieu of a bachelors degree the employerdeems that the suitable combination of education training or experienceacceptable is 3 years of study towards U.S. bachelors degree in ComputerScience Computer Applications Information Technology Information SystemsBusiness Administration Engineering (any) or closely related field plus 3years of IT experience. The applicant must also have: any period of experienceworking with software application development and integration tools includingIBM Websphere TIBCO Webmethods Hybris Adobe AWS Azure or Google; anyperiod of experience using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and emergingtrends; any period of experience working with software developmentmethodologies including Agile or Waterfall; and any period of experience withworking with SDLC processes and methodologies.
