Job Description

- Design camera module structures in CAD. - Design injection molded sheet metal PCB and other component parts.- Author detailed 2D manufacturing and inspection drawings. - Perform rigorous tolerance analysis of module designs and component parts. - Interface with component part and camera manufacturing partners on design manufacturability and resolution of mechanical issues. - Author clear documentation on mechanical inspection and test requirements. - Direct FEA engineers on evaluation of camera designs.


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Optical Science Physics or related field


  • Masters or PhD degree and 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficient in CAD 3D modeling and 2D drafting NX a plus.
  • Expertise in plastic injection molding sheet metal design and material surface treatment.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical design principles material knowledge and FEA.
  • Proficient in conducting tolerance analysis for highly complex and precision mechanical structures.
  • Proven track record in transitioning designs into mass production ensuring rigorous quality control and reliability standards.
