Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Orientation toward customer relations- Orients new clients staff visitors and volunteers to the program. Understands the basic functions of other programs offered by Sheppard Pratt. Displays professional interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and individuals involved in their care and treatment.
2. Monitor and assist medications with clients-Monitor and train the clients on these procedures.
3. Medication Changes-Ensuring that all medication changes are communicated to appropriate pharmacy RN and/or programmatic provider.
4. Coordinating Medication Issues- Following up on medication issues with doctors offices partial hospitalization programs outpatient psychiatrists primary care physicians and any other involved specialists.
5. Communication with Providers- Maintaining an ongoing relationship with appropriate providers such as caregivers family members etc. Notifying any provider of medical psychiatric issues related to clients care medication etc.

The pay range for this position is $18 hourly minimum to $22.28 hourly maximum and is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to years and level of related experience.
