Job Description

Essential Duties:


The Quality Control Inspector supports the Division Manager by routinely reviewing on-site janitorial operations. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that housekeeping services meet contractual standards and client expectations. This role functions as the direct supervisor of on-site managers overseeing contracted housekeeping teams.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct regular cleaning inspections and document results

Prepare and follow up on work orders

Observe daily operations and assess housekeeping staff

Address cleanliness standards and resolve client complaints

Assign tasks to on-site managers and monitor the quality of completed work

Enforce safety protocols and provide site-specific training

Purchase distribute and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment

Ensure all equipment is in proper working order

Maintain accurate timekeeping records and oversee employee hours

Provide site coverage and emergency response as needed

Communicate with clients through weekly and monthly reports


Qualification & Experience:


Hands-on janitorial experience preferred over formal education

Strong leadership decision-making and observational skills

Excellent time management and stamina for active fast-paced environments

Ability to maintain safety standards including chemical handling and storage

Experience in inventory control and supply management

Understanding of local community and service needs

Valid drivers license and access to personal transportation

Ability to resolve employee and customer concerns effectively



Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand walk use hands and finger(s) to handle or feel and reach with arms and hands. The employee is required to stoop kneel or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must lift/move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
