Job Description
As a key member of Connectivity Firmware Performance team you will work on software design testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization! The work involves devising performance evaluation methodologies on SW/HW prototypes analyzing logs and making recommendations for implementing in software based on trade-off analysis at a system & product level.
- Strong understanding in one of Wi-Fi Bluetooth Thread or related protocols
- Background or research experience in RF Digital and Wireless communications
- Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues
- Experience with Python for testing data analysis and visualization
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite
- BS Electrical engineering Computer engineering Software engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with power performance trade-off analysis
- Experience with CPU profiling and optimizations
- Programming in C or C is a plus
- MS or PhD is a plus
- Approach problems flexibly adjusting strategies as needed for practical solutions.
- Focus on priorities and drive efforts toward achieving results.
- Stay curious continually seeking to learn and improve processes.
