Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to drive project management and support regulatory risk and control initiatives within Market Conduct and Supervision. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation. Learn more about our career areas and business divisions at .


In this role you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize plan and execute a variety of programs services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives limit risk exposure and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business groups functional area or products facilitate decision making and issue resolution and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Business Execution Implementation or Strategic Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business analysis project management change management implementation business operations or strategic planning within Corporate & Investment Banking
  • Big 4 consulting experience
  • Experience leading regulatory and compliance related projects
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to understand lines of business and operational processes
  • Experience managing timelines budgets forecasting resources and reporting
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders gather and interpret requirements present options for meeting needs and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to lead meetings drive agendas forward and influence decisions
  • Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivator and ability to learn independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience with Tableau Visio and Power BI

Job Expectations:

  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws Article III Section 3 which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Ranges:

Charlotte NC: $119K - $187K

New York NY:$143K - $224K

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119000.00 - $224000.00
