About the Role:

Join theMacKillop Seasonsteam as aSeasons Resilience Officer where your expertise in education and training will help communities recover and thrive after this hands-on role youll work with schools and community organisations to coordinate training and provide ongoing support in the Seasons for Growth suite of education programs in schools and community settings supporting children young people and families. Youll work closely with educators community leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-quality training build capacity and foster resilience through evidence-based approaches.

About You:

Youre an experienced educator or trainer with a background in education health or community services. Youre passionate about using learning as a tool for healing and empowerment and you thrive in dynamic community-focused environments. Youre confident working independently skilled in facilitation and relationship-building and committed to culturally safe inclusive practices. Youre ready to make a meaningful impact through education and contribute to building capacity in local communities to support disaster preparedness recovery and resilience.

This is anon-ongoing Part Time (0.8 EFT)opportunity untilJune 30th 2027 based inLismore NSW within ourMacKillop Seasons Program.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate with schools and community organisations to deliver education projects aligned with key milestones
  • Build strong relationships with schools councils and community organisations
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing consultation and support to program participants
  • Collect and analyse feedback to inform continuous improvement and reporting

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications ineducation health or a related field with experience in disaster recovery or trauma-informed practice
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and meet key deliverables
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including facilitation and report writing
  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture and commitment to culturally safe practice
