This position is based in the following office location:
Manchester NHThe opportunity
Southern New Hampshire Universitys traditional campus is looking for an Assistant Volleyball Coach Part Time. You will report to the Head Volleyball Coach. This position is located on the main campus in Manchester NH.
What youll do:
- Participate in the leading and execution of preseason and season practices. Help monitor conditioning programs
- Provide input as to the evaluation of the athletes performance and progress. Evaluate opponents performance and scouting. Ensure the peak performance of athletes during games
- Help recruit prospective student athletes
- Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions
- Bring University Vans to and from practice games playoffs and coaches meetings
- Additional responsibilities can be assigned with discussion between the Head Coach Director of Athletics and the Assistant Coach
- Attendance is required at the annual athletic awards banquet any NE-10 conference meetings any all-star balloting or voting meetings and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings
What were looking for:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of playing or coaching experience at the college club or high school level in volleyball
- Knowledge observance and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College NE-IO ECAC and NCAA
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work flexible schedules to meet team needs
You will be governed by the rules and regulations of the NCAA and Southern New Hampshire University which requires working with the Head Coach in all facets of the program. You must develop a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. If you plan to recruit you must pass the NCAA Certification exam.
You may drive the team van to and from contests and pre-season practice or tournaments so a Valid Drivers License is required.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $14.01 - $22.43. Actual offer will be based on skills qualifications experience and internal equity in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $15.49 - $20.95.Employment Type
