Overview
CommonSpirit Health one of the nations largest health care provider systems is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community. The Community Investment Program (CIP) is at the forefront of realizing the organizations mission and channels financial resources to institutions or projects that address the social determinants of health primarily in the form of below-market rate loans to institutions and/or projects. With an allocation of up to $400 million of which approximately $260 million is either deployed or approved for deployment the CIP promotes access to resources and services addressing health-related social needs to underserved populations in CommonSpirit Healths communities.
Job Summary / Purpose
The Community Investment Program Analyst works with the Community Investment Program Manager to champion and orchestrate all facets of an exceptional nationally recognized place-based community investment program. This encompasses financial analysis and loan underwriting participating in meetings with investees relationship management portfolio monitoring impact measurement business development program operations and process addition to performing credit analysis the Analyst maintains the operational excellence of the CIP through activities such as program and file maintenance payment tracking reporting reconciliation impact measurement and evaluation and disbursements. This position reports directly to the Manager Community Investments and collaborates with the Director Investments as well as the Chief Investment Officer within the Treasury Department and other teams including Mission. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco CA and the Analyst is expected to work from the San Francisco office a couple of days per week. There may also be occasional travel.
