ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Deliver expert-level support and services on Oracle database engineered systems and cloud technologies to premium customers
- Collaborate with customers to ensure they get the best out of our products covering the entire life cycle of the product from architecture design to maintenance
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on Oracle database technology including architecture performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues including installation patching and upgrade problems
- Perform database migrations patching and upgrades ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance
- Work with Oracle engineered systems such as Exadata and ZDLRA to deliver high-quality support and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers ensuring their satisfaction and success with our products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle technologies and trends continuously improving technical skills and knowledge
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Oracle database engineer/DBA
- Deep understanding of Oracle Database Architecture including RAC ASM and Data Guard
- Extensive experience with Golden Gate replication and cloud technologies
- Expert-level skills in database troubleshooting performance tuning and optimization
- Strong knowledge of Oracle engineered systems including Exadata and ZDLRA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to customers
- Ability to work under pressure think quickly and remain calm in stressful situations
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with Oracle cloud services including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Database Cloud Service
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and their applications in database management
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies including automation and continuous integration
- Certification in Oracle database administration such as OCP or OCM
