About the Role
Were seeking an experienced Android Developer with 6-9 years of experience to join our MBRDI team. As an Android Developer youll work on Base Power Managers and Android middleware layers.
What You Will Do
1. Android Middleware Development: Develop and maintain Android middleware layers.
2. Base Power Manager Development: Work on Base Power Managers and related components.
3. Android Build Environments: Experience with Android build environments and Android bp files.
4. Issue Analysis and Fixing: Analyze and fix Android issues.
What You Need to Be Successful
1. Technical Skills:
- Android middleware layers (packages and frameworks folders)
- Vehicle HAL
- Android bp files
- Android build environments
2. Programming Skills:
- Good experience with OOPS language (C or Java)
3. Version Control: Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Bonus Points if You Have
1. Experience with Android Automotive: Experience working with Android Automotive systems.
2. Knowledge of Power Management: In-depth knowledge of power management systems and techniques.
3. Experience with Debugging Tools: Experience with debugging tools like ADB Android Studio Debugger.
4. Experience with Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
What Makes You Eligible
1. Relevant Experience: 5 years of experience as a software developer with at least 2 years of experience in Android middleware layers.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in Android middleware development and Base Power Managers.
3. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and fix complex Android issues.
