AXA Global Business Services a fully owned subsidiary of AXA was established in 1997 in Bangalore and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the AXA Group to provide comprehensive range of outsourced back office transactions processing and high value add (such as Equity Analytics Investment Management Data Science & Digital Analytics and Actuarial) for the AXA Group Companies. AXA GOBO currently employs over 3600 people to provide support to the 40 AXA companies in Europe North America Asia Australia New Zealand & Japan.
The Actuarial practice at AXA GBS plays a critical role and is our likely key growth area for the coming years. The team is involved in variety of activities around technical pricing market pricing reserving or valuation experience analysis shareholder reporting financial projections and other new technical initiatives all of this undertaken in close collaboration with the various clients that we support. The team serves several AXA entities across the world and is currently engaged in working with entities from North America Europe Asia Pacific and Mediterranean and in the Middle-East region in the Property and Casualty Life and Healthcare insurance products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Life Insurance model testing / reporting role as per project requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Graduate / Post Graduate in Statistics Mathematics Economics or Finance.
Student Member of an Actuarial Society (IAI / IFoA / CAS / SOA)
Should have cleared 1-2 actuarial exams. A good academic record is also desirable
A good understanding of Life Insurance products will be desirable
Relevant experience of 2-4 years in Life Insurance
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Good knowledge & experience of working on Excel and VBA coding is important for efficient delivery
A flair for programming knowledge on R Python and an analytical mindset will be a very desirable attribute
OTHER ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Builds an effective working relationship with key contacts within the partner entity through clear communication and timely and effective support
Quick learner self-driven and assuming complete ownership of deliverables
Good team player
Displays good time management skills - ability to meet tight timelines and manage ad-hoc deliverables if any.
Develop documentation around the existing processes
Be willing and able to work on multiple projects from time to time
Good actuarial exam progress will be suitably rewarded.
