Job Description
Were looking for a junior Software Engineer to join the APX Bedrock team the foundation of our platform capabilities. Youll help design and build scalable user-friendly tools and backend services that make it easier for teams across Apple to manage and operate analytics pipelines RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and build scalable backend services that integrate big data technologies with microservices for real-time and batch data processing- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and improve platform capabilities- Contribute to the design of intuitive developer tools and automation systems- Stay informed of industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience
- 3 years of software engineering experience preferably in a full-stack or backend role
- Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services using modern programming languages (e.g. Java Python Go)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and working with relational or analytical databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps fundamentals
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and challenges
- Hands-on experience integrating or leveraging AI models in applications
- Experience with big data orchestration systems like Airflow
- Experience in building CLI tools
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
