As a Senior Software Development Engineer you will lead the design architecture and implementation of critical tools and services that support the entire satellite development lifecycle. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale satellite development efforts efficiently and effectively.
Key job responsibilities - Design develop and maintain custom software tools to support various engineering tasks and workflows - Collaborate closely with hardware and systems engineers to understand their needs and requirements - Implement efficient and scalable solutions for data analysis simulation and automation - Optimize existing tools and processes to improve productivity and efficiency - Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies. - Deep understanding of testing continuous integration build deployment & continuous monitoring. - Evangelize engineering excellence best practices and mentor junior engineers.
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
