- Develops age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for young children.
- Monitors and supervises children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Communicates effectively with parents regarding childrens progress and behavior.
- Implements positive discipline techniques to encourage good behavior.
- Observes and assesses childrens development and growth.
- Collaborates with other teachers and staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or related field with 30 quarter or 24 semester hours in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid State of Ohio Kindergarten licensure required.

Skills:
- Effective communication skills to interact with children families and other professionals.
- Ability to supervise and direct Assistant Teacher and students.
- Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and change priorities.
- Ability to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom.
Experience:
Kindergarten experience preferred.
