As a finance intern you will have broad exposure to our global organizations and leadership teams. Your participation in special projects and strategic initiatives will be critical to overall success of our business strategies.
Analyze financials capital expenditures or cost center expenses
Conduct modeling support
Conduct risk-based internal audits of operational financial and information technology functions across the globe
Review income and balance sheet statements profit and loss statements and consolidated statements
Conduct market industry and category analysis and strategies
Our summer internships are full-time (40 hours/week) paid positions lasting 10-11 weeks. We offer competitive compensation along with educational and social programming throughout the summer. For interns relocating more than 50 miles from home or school we provide housing assistance and a relocation and transportation stipend.
MUST HAVE:
To be considered for a summer 2026 Finance Internship you must meet the following basic qualifications. To be considered for a positionclearly indicate how you meet these criteria onyour resume.
Working towards a bachelors degree in finance accounting or related engineering major with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 Spring 2027 Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
The ability to participate full time (40 hours/week) as part of our intern cohort from June 1 - August 14 (semester system programs) or June 15 August 21 (quarter system programs).
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and do not require sponsorship in the future for an employment visa. The Medtronic Summer Internship Program does not provide work authorization sponsorship for summer intern positions. Individuals with temporary visas such as E F-1 H-1 H-2 L B J or TN or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for the Medtronic Summer Internship Program.
NICE TO HAVE:
Prior work on projects in a team environment
Minimum of a 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA
Relevant academic project and/or internship experience
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications
