Clark College is currently seeking to fill a part-time Music Professor as a Music Applied Lesson Instructor teaching Trombone.
Clark College offers a two-year Music Direct Transfer Degree. Students are required to take 6 quarters of Music Theory Ear Training and applied lessons on the instrument of their choice.
The instructor will only teach in quarters where there is a music major who is currently enrolled or has taken music theory and ear training is pursuing the Music DTA and has declared the trombone as their preferred instrument.
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALARY STATEMENT:Lecture hourly rate $93.18
The salary is calculated per student taught during each quarter and based on the number of applied trombone students registered on the 10th day of the quarter.
