How Youll Make an Impact
Design and develop 1PH and 3PH pad-mounted distribution transformers using 2D and 3D CAD tools.
Create and modify drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
Participate in design and customer specification reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Support cross-functional teams with timely mechanical engineering expertise.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
Collaborate with vendors on part development and qualification.
Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Consult with other engineering teams to ensure optimal design integration
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Creo or similar 3D modeling software.
Familiarity with industrial and engineering standards.
Experience designing custom mechanical products.
Knowledge of IEEE and CSA standards is a plus.
