Job Description
Overview
Presbyterian is seeking an exprienced OBGYN or womens health RN to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. The Precious Beginnings RN provides compassionate high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers new mothers and newborns within the Precious Beginnings program. This role supports patients through prenatal perinatal and postpartum stages ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for both mother and baby.

Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification REQUIRED at time or hire
- Womens care / OBGYN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health recognizing and responding to complications.
- Educate patients and families on prenatal care labor and delivery postpartum recovery and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians pediatricians lactation consultants and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Support patients emotionally and physically during labor and delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
