Supports To Empower People(STEP)provides comprehensive community and residential services to adult men who have intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD) as well as significant behavioral and mental health concerns. The principles of Dialectical Behavioral Treatment (DBT) are adapted for the individual and integrated into all aspects of supports. STEP provides empowering assistance in therapeutically receptive environments which allows participants to embark upon the clinical challenges encountered and to safely explore and pursue their dreams.

Schedule Includes: This is a full-time position that requires the availability to work any shift including nights weekends and holidays as needed and stay for overtime if mandated as necessary.
Salary:$22.25/hr
Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us there are times where overtime may be mandated.
What Youll Do:
- Coach advocate mentor and teach in a caring adaptable and respectful manner.
- Work as a member of a strong committed team within the mens homes.
- Provide empowering support enable fuller lives to explore & pursue personal dreams in a safe and healthy manner.
Support and follow all treatment team decisions and effectively implement all Individual Plans (ISP) Behavior Plans Nursing Care Plans doctors orders etc. as written.
Provide information through team meetings behavioral data emails and all other means of documentation.
- Support the individuals enjoy their interests: employment volunteering sports recreation as well as households family and friends.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A Bachelors degree in psychology or social work is required.
- Experience in working with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must Possess a Valid Drivers license.
- Must have access to a registered vehicle that has a valid current inspection and is insured while working to transport persons served.
- Must have an acceptable driving record and national background check.
