Where We Need You:

Protiviti is looking for a Risk & Compliance Associate Director or Director to join our growing Lender Due Diligence team. We are seeking an evolving leader within the Lender Due Diligence space.

The Lender Due Diligence team is part of the Risk and Compliance Solution. Protivitis risk and regulatory compliance practice in London is focused on Financial Services insurance retail private commercial and investment banking securities trading investment management wealth management and market infrastructure.

Protivitis Financial Services practice is widely recognised as a leading provider of consulting services across the three lines of defense for financial institutions. We empower our clients to be more effective and efficient in a way that is risk-sensitive regulatory compliant well controlled and enabled by leading technologies. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs design and implement strategies and ensure successful project delivery.

What You Can Expect:

The Associate Director/Director role plays a lead role in strengthening our relationships with clients and providing seamless guidance in the completion of engagements while also partnering with our clients to identify and manage risk. Youll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking and devise solutions to support your clients needs through using the latest tools and methods. Youll develop lasting relationships with your clients and further these relationships through quality product delivery. Youll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide performance development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans. By focusing on clients and engagements in the financial services industry youll partner with highly regulated clients and deepen your expertise in financial services regulations.

  • You have interest in working with a diverse portfolio of clients across the Financial Services industry.

Do Your Talents Include the Following

  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Strong auditing experience in the areas of credit risk and the related processes controls and reporting for different asset classes. Prior lender due diligence experience especially for securitisation conduit and/or warehouse facilities is a plus.
    • Prior securitisation/structured finance experience in any of the various asset classes (ABS RMBS CMBS CLO) with ABS or CLO experience being the most preferred.
    • General financial accounting background and experience.
    • Knowledge of receivables (loans trade etc.) accounting and transaction processing.
  • Performing an agreed-upon set of procedures which may include the evaluation of collateral the target companys processes reporting capabilities and quality of data associated with those assets.
  • Evaluating summarising organising and interpreting data.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced client service focused consultative work environment and contribute to the engagement teams success.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network including with senior executives.
  • Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
  • Ability to translate and communicate Lender Due Diligence issues to client personnel including executives.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals mentoring and coaching oversight and review of work coordination across teams and understanding how to motivate.
  • Understanding European Structured Finance market and demonstrated ability to manage client relationships.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant discipline.
  • 10 years working in working in internal audit consulting assurance services or related field either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
  • Professional Certification such as CPA CIA FRM or similar strongly preferred.

Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client project team and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites which can include local or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Remuneration and Benefits

Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience skills and geographic work location.

Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover life assurance pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year. Protiviti also recognises up to 10 paid holidays each calendar year and we have additional benefits as part of the Robert Half Enterprise.
