Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients physical and mental abilities and their needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving daily living and work skills.
- Teach patients how to use adaptive tools and techniques to perform everyday tasks.
- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Educate family members and caregivers on how to support the patient s progress at home.
- Collaborate with physicians physical therapists and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master s preferred).
- State licensure or registration as required.
- Strong communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
