Job Description
Your responsibilities will include the following:- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and maintain user level requirements.- Transform user level requirements and other stakeholders needs into engineering requirements via systems analysis and functional decomposition. - Develop and maintain architecture diagrams specification trees and behavioral models to establish traceability across engineering domains and cross-functional teams. - Identifying critical design risks and collaborate with domain experts to develop mitigation strategies via the use of fault trees FMEAs etc. - Conduct impact analysis across design changes and requirements changes and facilitate trade-off analysis across cross-functional stakeholders. Other responsibilities may additionally include:- Overseeing the requirements management system for one or more health features and/or health sensor technology platforms. - Defining and implementing continuous improvement activities that are intended to prevent quality issues and nonconformance. - Drive strategic initiatives intended to improve the efficiency and scalability of feature and product development.
- Experienced dedicated engineer with proven track record of developing sophisticated systems from definition through the project life cycle.
- Background in one or more of the following: Knowledge of human physiology experience with user testing and analyzing sensor data to extract physiological metrics. Optics sensor interfacing signal conditioning and sensor algorithms. Electrical engineering analog-mixed signal circuits and embedded systems. Mechanical engineering electromechanics product design. AI machine learning and statistics.
- BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Experience with Medical device development with exposure to regulatory and quality systems preferred.
- Passion for defining and applying systems engineering best practices and systems architecture principles for developing high quality products.
- Exceptional written communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Technical leader able to bridge and coordinate broadly multi-functional teams
- Masters/PhD in relevant EE field.
