We are looking for a curious and empathetic technical leader that will partner with multiple cross functional teams (EPM SRE Customer Success Product) to deliver the vision strategy and adoption of the ASE this role- You will form trusting partnership with senior ICs and managers that are geographically distributed to push the products roadmap forward.- Your team will be responsible to prioritize plan and deliver features end-to-end from inception through production deployment.- Your teams work will impact hundreds of millions of users and be critical to the success of some of the most visible current and future Apple features.
BS/MS in EE CS or related field or equivalent experience
15 years of experience as a backend software engineer.
Strong written and communication skills.
Ability to dive deep as needed to facilitate technical strategy trade-offs and zoom out to understand the big picture to shape the product.
Experience hiring strong technical talent while maintaining the team culture.
Consistent track record of mentoring and helping engineers grow their careers.
Ability to lead across cross-functional teams.
Experience working on distributed databases distributed storage or other similar large scale distributed systems.
Experience building and running reliable platform systems supporting high-scale and critical workloads including fast response and short mean-time-to-restore service.
