Job Description
As a Display Silicon Architect owning the chip architecture and specication in a chip design you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of display silicon design- Architecting the display silicon and display sub-system- Establishing display driver IC critical blocks design rules and guidelines- Providing analysis to drive design rules and guidelines- Authoring display silicon engineering requirements specication- Working with the silicon teams to perform and review simulation- Dening the roadmap for the next generation display silicon and display subsystem- Managing silicon and system level risk and performance tradeo
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in IC design & architecture experience
- Experience leading chip design and integration
- Experience with analog digital & IC design fundamentals and/or rigorous process development and analytical methodology which lead to high quality design
- Masters or related field with some industry experience
- Eective written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with either analog IC design (e.g. designing high-performance Op Amps LDOs OSCs DAC ADC and other analog building blocks) or digital IC design including experience in FPGA and firmware development.
- Experience in display silicon and system
- Experience in developing and manufacturing high volume products
- Experience in vendor technical management
- Knowledge in electronic displays image quality or graphics subsystem
- Ability to conduct experiments during silicon debug gathering and analyzing data
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181100 and $318400 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
