Job Description

Join Our Team After Hours Coordinator

As the senior clinical lead after hours you will support staff manage clinical incidents and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

POSITION STATUS:Permanent Part-Time - (0.6 EFT min)

CLASSIFICATION:Registered Nurse Grade 5 NT/SUPER (51 200 Beds) ZC5

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desirable

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Essential:

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum Five (5) Years Clinical experience in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Residential Aged Care knowledge and experience
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to function independently
  • High level effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with clinical performance monitoring budgeting and resource management
  • Proven knowledge of information management systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary health service issues

Desirable:

  • Membership of relevant professional body
  • Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desired
  • Knowledge of current issues trends and research in Aged Care
