Job Description
Join Our Team After Hours Coordinator
As the senior clinical lead after hours you will support staff manage clinical incidents and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
POSITION STATUS:Permanent Part-Time - (0.6 EFT min)
CLASSIFICATION:Registered Nurse Grade 5 NT/SUPER (51 200 Beds) ZC5
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desirable
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential:
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum Five (5) Years Clinical experience in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Residential Aged Care knowledge and experience
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to function independently
- High level effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience with clinical performance monitoring budgeting and resource management
- Proven knowledge of information management systems
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary health service issues
Desirable:
- Membership of relevant professional body
- Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desired
- Knowledge of current issues trends and research in Aged Care
