Job Description
Join the Touch ID team and play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge fingerprint biometric sensors. Youll be responsible for the entire sensor development lifecycle from schematic capture and module design to validation and integration across the supply chain. Your expertise in analog and digital circuit design PCB design signal integrity and electrical failure analysis will be crucial in defining technical strategies and driving innovationWhat Youll Do:Design develop and validate Touch ID sensors for Apple multi-functional teams in integration discussions and coexistence technical strategy and convergence plans presenting regularly to on high-volume mass production ensuring quality and your expertise in analog and digital circuit design PCB design and signal You Are:A passionate and experienced electrical engineer with a strong foundation in analog fundamentals and a proven track record of taking electrical designs into mass production. Youre a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a drive to push the boundaries of whats possible
- Strong EE analog fundamentals with demonstrated experience in all phases of circuit design and development.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience in design characterization and validation of sensing systems.
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope meters etc.) and circuit simulation (SPICE).
- Experience creating engineering design requirement and specification documents.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python scripting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Cadence experience a plus.
- Experience with statistical analysis of production data (JMP Tableau).
- Experience in FEA simulation and modeling tools (Comsol ANSYS Maxwell).
- Experience with high-volume mass production.
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181100 and $318400 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
