DESCRIPTION:Southeastern is seeking a highly skilled and passionate paraprofessionalto join our team. The ideal candidate will have acommitment to educational excellence and the ability to inspire and engage students.
OUR STUDENTS:Southeastern is a diverse multicultural vocational technical high school which serves over 1700 students. The students balance the rigors of a complete academic course of studies with technical skill training in over 20 career majors. Our students are prepared for college career and/or additional technical training.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise Directed Studies sections and keep students on task.
- Demonstrates commitment to assisting learners in achieving their highest potential.
- Support learners in the academic classroom to access curriculum-Build positive rapport with students to encourage achievement and effort.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic a positive attitude and a genuine interest in working with students.
- Prior experience working as a paraprofessional and/or working with students (preferred not required).
- Ability to use technology in support of student learning.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
