Job Description
JOB TITLE: ASC Pre Admission Testing RN Full-Time
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Managing day-to-day operations in Pre Admission Testing. Calling all patients scheduled for surgery ensuring online health history is completed by patient before surgery. Giving patients instructions for surgery and arrival times. Communicating with offices for needed medical/ cardiac clearance for surgery. Following anesthesia guideline for surgery. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Current state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification.
- ASPAN membership preferred.
